Rose and Lupita met while working at a women’s shelter in Mexico. As their personal relationship grew, they found that they had a common belief: the importance of cultivating self-worth and family values in women who have had those qualities stolen from them by injustice. They recognized the necessity to break the cycle of abuse in order to help these women heal and prosper.  In March of 2017 Lupita and Rose partnered with New Beginnings Women’s Association to open One Life to Love in Baja. This women’s shelter is the result of their common vision to create a transitional home and safe haven for these women and their children.
